We know times have been hard! We know a LOT has changed and that these are unprecedented times but we are here for our MacKid families!!! We are working hard to bring some sense of normality to our families. 

This is our Summer Camps/Classes List, we have 20+ different places that are open and have camps and classes available. Please note that we will keep adding to this list and our monthly calendar as we confirm more and more places. Some are only offering online camps and/or classes.

1⃣   Amy's Aquatics

I've been an American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor for 18 years. I have a passion for being in the water and enjoy sharing my love of swimming with children. I believe that every person is capable of learning how to swim.

2⃣   AquaKids Swim School Flower Mound

Swim lessons are essential in order to ensure that your child is safe and comfortable in the water. We offer year-round swim lessons and birthday parties for all ages in a safe, friendly environment. Our pools are indoor and heated: sunburn-free.

   The AquaKids® Swim School is a year round aquatic develop center that provides a fun and creative learning environment for children. We specialize in children 4 and under but love teaching all ages. Our 92 degree water allows your child to enjoy each lesson. Our teachers use our AquaSteps® program, and most have American Red Cross certifications in Lifeguarding and CPR. We offer group, private or semi-private classes. Group lessons have four students in a class for children ages three and older. Baby classes have a six to one student-teacher ratio. AquaKids® also offers adult swim lessons and private parties.

Our water slides and teaching aids facilitate the learning process for your child. All of these factors create a very special opportunity for your children to learn the wonderful, life-saving skill of swimming.

3⃣   Bach to Rock

Bach to Rock in Flower Mound, TX provides music lessons for students of all ages and skill levels living in Flower Mound, Lewisville, Double Oak & Highland Village. Instruments we teach include guitar, piano, drums, voice, violin, trumpet & more! B2R birthday parties and seasonal camps are great opportunities to play & learn music with your friends and make new ones! We also have early childhood classes for toddlers and preschoolers. Take your skills to the next level in a Glee Club or Rock Band. B2R offers opportunities for students to perform in venues around Denton County and the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

4⃣   Best Gymnastics

Best Gymnastics provides the best gymnastics training to our students. We proudly serve the communities of Flower Mound, Lewisville, Lantana, Highland Village, Coppell, Carrollton, Grapevine, Southlake, Colleyville, Roanoke, Corinth, and others.

Gymnastics is the best sport available to create young athletes and proper athletic foundations for all future sporting endeavors.

We offer a clean and modern facility with the best coaches and the best training tools and methods in the industry. Our gym not only includes all the Olympic gymnastics apparatus, but we have 6 trampolines, a large in-ground foam pit for training and for fun, a 40 ft. rod tumbling floor, a 40 ft. tumble track, and a floor dedicated to our Best Kids pre-school program. We also have open seating for parents at all times, a cafe area with live television, and free Wi-Fi.

Best Gymnastics offers a variety of programs to suit our customers’ needs, whether they are looking for fun, athletic play or high level gymnastics training. Our gymnastics curriculum was developed from over 75 years of personal gymnastics knowledge as athletes, managers, and parents, and is unparalleled in the gymnastics industry.

5⃣   CAC (Community Activity Center - Flower Mound)

The CAC has plenty to offer. Whether you are looking to get in shape, find an exciting class to participate in, learn a new skill, swim, or relax by the pool at our Outdoor Waterpark, the CAC has something for everyone. 

The Community Activity Center is currently CLOSED due to the coronavirus, with a scheduled reopening date of June 1 at 7 a.m

6⃣   Cake Camp

We have a fun environment to show you all the tricks professional bakers use. Each day campers go home with fresh baked goodies to share with the family

7⃣  Castle Hills For Kids Only

Castle Hills For Kids Only believes in a balance between learning and nurturing in a safe, fun and stimulating environment. Through our age appropriate A-Beka curriculum, your child will have a strong educational foundation that will prepare them for life long achievement.

We have a team of highly experienced and dedicated care givers and teachers. Our management team has over 25 years of experience in the education field with degrees in Early Childhood Education. Training is ongoing with our staff as we continue to better prepare them and meet state requirements as well.

Our dedicated teachers and staff work hard to provide a safe, fun and accepting atmosphere where children can develop a positive self-image and have a great time participating in many different activities. Feel free to come by and visit us anytime.

9⃣   Crossroads Kids - Crossroads Bible Church

Aladdin  Camp

Hop on your magic carpet and head to Aladdin Summer Camp! CYT’s original musical Aladdin has a magic Genie, fantastic bad guys, heroic good guys, and a true love story that will touch everyone’s heart. Not only does Aladdin and his helpful Genie outwit the evil Jafar and save Princess Jasmine, but with the help of the Magic Lamp, they put on spectacular production numbers set in the Cave of Wonders, the Baghdad marketplace and the Sultan’s Palace. Come join Aladdin and his gang as he fulfills his three wishes at a fun filled week of CYT Camp!

1⃣6⃣   Excite! Gym & Cheer

Excite! first opened its doors in February 2001 in Flower Mound. Rapid growth and success of its programs made it necessary to purchase a larger facility. This is the current location in Highland Village where programs including, Pre-school, Cheer, MDO, Tumbling, Gymnastics, Girl Scouts Workshops, Camps, Clinics and “Parent’s Night Out” are offered.

1⃣8⃣   Montessori Country Day School

Tucked away in the serene country setting of western Flower Mound, Montessori Country Day School continues the Montessori Program that established its reputation in the community over 25 years ago.  Serving families for a second generation, children experience a home-like environment that creates a sense of security and comfort.  Small class sizes with dedicated and experienced teachers open the door to learning.

1⃣9⃣   Living That Kind Life   -   ONLINE

The goal is simple: encourage people of all ages to spread kindness.. through youtube episodes, social media posts, podcast, events, laughter, resources and random acts of kindness! Join us!

2⃣0⃣   ISR with Debbie

With a focus on safe, customized, one-on-one lessons by certified Instructors, ISR’s survival swimming lessons emphasize health, ongoing program evaluations and parent education to deliver the most effective and safest results in the industry.  

 Lessons for a 6-12 month old focus on teaching the child to roll onto their back to float, rest and breathe, and to be able to maintain this life-saving position until help arrives. 

 Lessons for children 1-6 years old focus on teaching the swim-float-swim survival sequence. Children learn to swim with their head down; roll onto their back to float, rest, and breathe; and roll back over to resume swimming until they reach the side of the pool, where they can either crawl out or until they can be rescued.

Once the children are fully skilled they will practice ISR’s survival techniques fully clothed during lessons. It is recommended that children complete refresher lessons to help their in-water skill level grow with their physical development.
