1. Fingerprint Carrot and Bunny Painting 

You will need:

• Orange washable paint
• Brown washable paint
• White washable paint
• Piece of paper
• Bakers twine
• Glue
• Scissors
• Brown marker

Directions:

1. Start by drawing a wiggly line with a brown marker to make the dirt.
2. Have your kiddos dip their thumbs first into washable orange paint and press it against the brown line.
3. Next, have them dip their pointer finger.
4. Last but not least, use their pinky for the bottom!
5. Grab some green/white bakers twine and cut them up in little pieces.
6. Glue them above the brown line. Add some brown fingerprint bunnies if you want (2 fingerprints, dab of white paint, and drawing 2 brown ears).
7. To finish off the craft you can have your kids dip their finger in brown paint and cover the bottom like it's dirt!

2. Adorable Dice Bunnies

You will need:

• Foam dice (1 dice per bunny)
• Balloons (color of your choosing)
• Black Sharpie (to make the eyes, nose, whiskers and mouth)
• Pink felt
• Same color felt as the balloons you picked
• Yarn or yarn pom poms (same color as the balloons) 
• Material to make bows (optional, as you can choose whatever you like to make the bows, follow your heart) 

Note: You can color the nose pink instead of black or use a cricut to make the bunny’s face. 

You can choose whatever color balloon, pick your favorite but try to buy the same color felt and yarn.

Directions: 

1. Put a balloon over the dice and cut off the long part to cover it. 
2. Make the ears using felt and glue a toothpick in between (this will make them stand up)
3. Either make the pom-poms using the yarn or use the pre-made pom-poms.
4. Draw the bunny’s face (or use a cricut) 
5. (Optional) Make a bow to add to the top of the bunny, or the bottom (for a bow-tie look)

This is the cutest and easiest craft we have ever shared!! So adorable!! 

3. Easter Egg Birdseed Ornaments

You will need: 

Makes around 18 small eggs.

• Plastic eggs molds (you can use the plastic eggs that are used for egg hunts)
• ¾ cup flour
• 1/2 cup water
• 1/4 cup corn syrup
• 4 cups of birdseed

Directions:

1. Add the flour, water, corn syrup in a bowl. 
2. Stir in the birdseed

Time to mold:

1. Spray the inside of your plastic eggs with cooking spray to ensure that the mixture doesn’t get stuck and makes it easy for it to come out when you are done.
2. Scoop the mixture into both sides of the plastic egg. Add a little extra iso when you close the egg up it will be tightly filled.  Excess will squeeze out the sides and you can just wipe it off.
3. Make sure you close the egg completely so that the top and bottom half are firmly packed together.
4. After you have all of  your eggs filled and closed up you will then want to open one end of the plastic egg.  Open the smaller, bottom end of the egg. Do this as carefully as you can so both halves stay together. 
5. Keep the mold upright allowed for support. Let them dry like this for a couple of hours
6. Take them out of the second half of the plastic egg and place it back in the muffin tin with the dry side down. Let it dry for an hour or two.
7. At last, hang these, you can use a bright spring colored raffia or yarn to make them festive when you hang them. 

4. Paint Filled Eggs

You will need:

• Emptied eggshells 
• Paint 
• Tissue paper squares
• A glue stick
• Canvas panels (one per kid)

Directions:

For the Eggs:

• Use a butter knife to gently crack the top of the eggs
• Carefully use your fingers to peel away enough shell for the yolks to pass through.  
• Empty the yolks into a bowl.
• Carefully wash the empty eggshells with very warm water and antibacterial soap.
• Allow the shells to dry. 

Once your empty eggshells are dry it is time to fill them with paint!

• Fill the eggs with different colors of paint.  You can use washable paint or acrylic paint. 
• Take a tissue paper square and use a glue stick to carefully secure the paper over the egg openings.
• Cover one side of the square with glue, and then gently stick the tissue paper over the egg opening glue-side-down.
• Repeat this for each paint filled egg that you wish to make, and then allow the glue to dry.

Once your paint eggs are ready you can head outside to create and play!  

• Set the canvases outside since this can get messy. 

5. Simple Easter Eggs Dyeing 

You will need:

• Water
• Food Coloring
• White Vinegar
• Hard Boiled Eggs 
• Bowls or large cups
• Whisk  (optional, for an easier dip)
• Paper towel

Directions:

• Place 1/2 cup hot tap water in containers that are deep enough to completely submerge an egg.
• Place 20 drops of food coloring per 1/2 cup water (I used 40 drops and 1 cup to accommodate the size of my glasses).
• Mix well.
• Add in 1 tablespoon white vinegar and stir.
• To create new colors follow the guide on the back of the box. 

Notes: 

• The longer you leave the eggs in the food coloring mixture, the brighter the eggs. Start with a few minutes and then go from there. 
• Warning: food coloring is safe but will stain clothing or tabletops. You should have paper towels handy and you may want to protect surfaces with old newspaper or a drop-cloth.
• Boiled eggs can be dyed warm or cold. We prefer to let them cool for safety.
• A whisk is super handy for dipping the eggs. Just put the egg inside the whisk so it is easier to dip and retrieve.
